DR. DANIEL STRONG
B.SC (UQ) M.CHIRO (MACQ)
Daniel (also known as Dr Dan) grew up in Toowoomba, his Father an Agronomist and his Mother a Chemistry Teacher. Dan headed to university where he Graduated in 1995 at UQ with a BSc majoring in Forensic Archaeology, but it wasn't soon after that he realised his true passion, helping actual living people.
Back to studying, this time at Macquarie University Sydney to complete a Masters of Chiropractic, graduating 1998. Opening clinics soon after beginning in Toowoomba - Rangeville Family Chiropractic and then Dalby - Dalby Chiropractic Clinic. Moving and settling into Dalby prior to the arrival of his son, Charly in 2008. The same year Dr Brett Atkins joined the team and they have never looked back.
Dan's passion is prevention. So it seemed logical that he studied Paediatric Chiropractic and thus preventing disease early in life with Chiropractic care, Nutrition and Lifestyle education.
Dr. Brett Atkins
B.SC. M.CHIRO (MACQ)
Brett originally hails from Mildura, Vic the orange and grape capital. His father ran his own small business selling Grape Harvestors, whilst his mother worked in admin for the Dept Agriculture.
Moving to Sydney in 1994 Brett undertook and completed his University studies in 2000. He spent 3 years working in North-Western Sydney before embarking on an epic overseas adventure.
Living in Ireland for 2 years Brett discovered his passion for Snowboarding in the French Alps which led to his time in Canada and the U.S. for the following 2-3 years. Never shy to give something a go Brett held jobs as a Black-jack dealer, lumberjack, masseur, bar-tender, Surveyor's assistant and as a Chiro of course.
Upon returning home in 2008 Brett thought he'd "back-pack" around Australia whilst picking up work as a Chiro along the way. First stop was Dalby thanks to a referral by a mutual friend of Dan and Brett's. 12 months into his tenure and with plans to move to Western Australia it was the birth of his daughter Anika Molly that made him decide to settle here in good ol' Dalby.
Brett has a passion for science and a common-sense approach. You can always count on Brett to "tell it how it is".
Dr. Tim Harrison
B.SC (UNSW) DC, DO, GRAD DIP SPORTS CHIRO
(Finished working here in Dalby in March 16' but you can still find him working part-time in Ballina, clinic no. 0427 011 911).
I have over 30 years experience having been in private practice in Ballina, northern NSW, since 1982. I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity Chiropractic has given me to help people be their best by looking after their health (with a focus on the spine).
I have an interest in sports injuries and, after 2 years of study, attained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Chiropractic in 1998. I have 20 years experience looking after the injury management of various football teams, have attended the national surf life saving championships on several occasions and was part of the team of Chiropractors that attended to athletes at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
While I have experience in the field of sports, many similar problems are experienced by others in their day to day activities. Private practice has also allowed me the opportunity to assist people of all ages including babies and expecting mothers.
Education is important in understanding a problem and I enjoy the opportunity to explain to patients how problems affect us all and what we can do to prevent them. It is the personal touch that makes a visit to Dalby Chiropractic so rewarding.
Ash-Leigh has been apart of the Dalby Chiropractic crew since graduating from Dalby State High in 2011, Before working full time here she was a part time Gymnast, Coach and Judge Official for the Dalby PCYC Gymnastics Club. Ash is usually the friendly face on the desk as you arrive and she will do anything to make your time here at the clinic as enjoyable as possible!
